Confidence
What’s the word this week?
CONFIDENCE
What verse is the word from?
I want them to be encouraged and knit together by strong ties of love. I want them to have complete CONFIDENCE that they understand God’s mysterious plan, which is Christ himself.
Why is it important?
Confidence is used in many situations on a daily basis. When we have confidence we are relying on someone or something that we trust. God is calling us to have complete confidence in his mysterious plan. It’s a bit of a conundrum to have confidence in a mystery but Paul tells us what that plan is. It is Jesus Himself.
When we have faith in Jesus and his plan, we can trust that everything will work out according to his purposes. We may not understand everything that happens in our lives, but if we are trusting in Jesus, we know that He is good and knows what is best for us.
It’s a great comfort to know we can rely and trust in Him.
Apply it to your life
What’s one thing that helps build your confidence when completing a task for the first time, especially if it’s something hard or out of your comfort zone?

Thoughts to Ponder:
Mind
I know many women who struggle with self confidence. Is what you are telling yourself in your mind something you would say to others? Try building yourself up with encouraging words – think of what your best friend would tell you!
Body
Sit up straight, chip up, and smile! You are made in the image of God! Nothing can come against you that He doesn’t have power over.
Soul
Choose a scripture to memorize for when your confidence is lacking. A reminder from God can be very uplifting and have a great impact on your attitude.
