Graceful Days
What Are They And Why Is Grace Important?
Grace.
As Christians, we all know the word but
what does it really mean?
What is grace?
The Bible teaches us that grace is the unearned, undeserved and unmerited love and favor of God. We can’t earn it by what we accomplish, we certainly don’t deserve it because of any pleasing or attractive quality, and as humans with a sinful nature are totally unworthy of God’s grace.
But He has compassion on us and gives that saving grace to us freely and abundantly as an unmerited gift because He loves us.
How does the Bible define Grace?
This is a message that the world needs to hear. Throughout the Bible, God’s favor is witnessed. The gospel of Jesus proclaims God’s abundant mercy on the earth with unmerited favor. All who accept Jesus Christ will immediately receive His free and unmerited divine support, known as the word Grace—a gift from God directly.
God’s grace is a blessing we receive when we put our faith in Jesus and are saved.
Grace doesn’t depend on anything we do, only on God’s mercy. Through faith in Jesus, we receive eternal life.
What does that mean for me?
Grace means that we have been forgiven, set free from the bondage of sin. God’s good grace also equips us to love God and others with a supernatural love and effortless divine grace, – something we could never do on our own.
Have you ever been in a situation where hope seems lost, where you sense your day is out of sorts, where you feel a lack of will power to make it better?
These are the moments when we need to remember that God’s grace is sufficient for us and He will give us the strength we need to make it through.
When we extend grace to others, it is a tangible demonstration of the love and forgiveness that Jesus has extended to us.
It’s one thing to tell someone that you forgive them, but it’s an entirely different thing to actually show them Grace – to live out that forgiveness in your actions.

How Can We Have Graceful Days?
It’s really quite simple. Every day, make a conscious decision to extend grace to those around you. That unearned, undeserved, and unmerited love and favor – good grace. Smile at the cashier, even if she’s grumpy. Forgive your spouse for forgetting to take out the trash. Let that driver who just cut you off go with a kind wave.
You get the idea.
Why Are Graceful Days Important?
Graceful Days are important because they help us remember that we are all loved and granted favored by God, no matter what we have done or where we come from.
When we extend grace, we are mirroring the very character of God. We are being like Jesus.
And that my friends, is a pretty awesome way to live.
So let’s make Graceful Days a priority in our lives! Let’s live with the purpose to live out God’s grace each and every day, and see what a difference it makes in our own lives and the lives of those around us.

How to Begin A Graceful Day
Graceful living starts with a thankful heart. As you begin each day, take time to thank God for His blessings. No matter what the day may bring, God is with you and He will give you all the grace, to make it through.
Grace is also a state of mind. It’s an attitude that we can choose to have each day – an outlook that says, “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength” ( Philippians 4:13).
Don’t Forget Grace For Yourself
It’s also important to extend grace to yourself. We are often our own worst critic. Learn to forgive yourself for your mistakes and move on. Grace is all about second chances, and that includes second chances for ourselves.
When we have a Graceful state of mind, we see the good in people and situations. We choose to focus on the positive instead of dwelling on the negative.
Graceful living is also about forgiving others and ourselves. It’s important to forgive those who have hurt us, but it ‘s just as important to forgive ourselves. We all make mistakes, but we need to learn from them and move on.
Graceful living is also about being gentle with ourselves. We often expect too much from ourselves and end up feeling disappointed and frustrated. But when we extend grace to ourselves, we can cut ourselves some slack and enjoy life.
Why Should I want to show grace?
Because grace changes everything.
With grace we are seen as God’s sons and daughters. He no longer sees our sinful nature but instead sees the love of His son poured out for us on the cross.
With grace we are forgiven, set free from the bondage of sin. Grace also equips us to love God and others with a supernatural love – something we could never do on our own.
By showing grace to others it changes our hearts in a way that only God can. It’s not just an act of kindness, but it’s a heart attitude. When we have this heart attitude we will be more likely to look for ways to extend kindness and love – even to those who are hard to love in difficult situations.
We can also bring grace into our day by showing it to ourselves. We are so often our own worst critic, but God’s grace means that we are forgiven and loved – just as we are. Grace gives us permission to be kind to ourselves, to give ourselves a break.
When we live out grace each day, our lives will be more joyful, peaceful and fulfilling. We will be better equipped to love God and others well.
Conclusion
Finally friends, graceful days are important because they help us to focus on the positive, extend forgiveness, and be kind to ourselves and others. When we live out grace each day, our lives will be more joyful, peaceful and fulfilling.
Grace brings peace into our lives. It helps us to focus on what’s important and to let go of the things that don’t matter. When we choose grace, we are choosing a life that is more joyful, peaceful, and fulfilling.
This is the life that I pray each of you can experience! A life overflowing with love, joy, and peace. It’s in our power to choose, so let’s make today and each day a graceful day!
